Brian Tervo
President & CEO
As President and Chief Executive officer of TIE Kinetix North American Operations, Brian Tervo brings more than 15 years of business leadership and operational experience in strategic areas including business development, strategic partnerships, reseller relations, product sales, and mergers & acquisitions for both start-up and established software and managed service companies. Since joining the company in March of 1998, Brian has proven success in building high-performance teams, integrating organizational silos and positively changing company culture and achieving corporate goals across all functions in TIE’s worldwide operations.
Throughout his work history in the Information Technology marketplace, Mr. Tervo has held positions of increasing responsibility including Director of Sales, Director of Product Management, and Chief Operating Officer providing both a strategic and pragmatic enhancement to TIE’s overall business efficiency and global service delivery. He is a driven entrepreneur and energetic speaker at several industry events and conferences including UConnect-GS1, AMHA, Epicor Perspectives, NEECOM, ICSC and has been regularly published in several trade magazines, analyst research and blogs.
Prior to his career in the electronic commerce industry, Brian was a decorated eight-year Non Commissioned Officer with The United States Army National Guard and holds a BS of Business Administration with honors from Northeastern University in Boston.
Eric Hutchinson
Vice President of Professional Services
Eric Hutchinson joined TIE in 1999, and serves as the Vice President of Professional Services, overseeing day-to-day operations and performance of all personnel responsible for delivery of Content Syndication Implementation Services, Pre-Sales/Sales Engineering, and Quality Assurance. Eric has over 14 years of technology services & sales experience that include direct services, project and program management positions in the and B2B, IT, and energy sectors.
Experienced in start-up cultures as well as processes within established organizations, Eric's work has consisted of creating core organizational foundations from the ground-up, supporting strategy roll-out, process implementation and improvement, and program maintenance. With an operational focus on building teams to create and support Content Syndication deliverables, he has also successfully lead the inception, development, and delivery of TIE's Value Added Network services, now optimized as a business model that supports rapid growth and profit.
Prior to his work in the technology services field, Eric worked in manufacturing operations management, responsible for oversight of plant production systems, quality control, and shipping & logistics. Eric is a graduate of the Babson College SBA of New England Entrepreneurial Management Program and holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing Communication from the University of New Hampshire.
Jeanne Hentges
Vice President of B2B Operations
Jeanne Hentges is the Vice President of B2B Operations for TIE Commerce, responsible for Technical Support, Professional Services and Managed Services. Ms. Hentges joined TIE Commerce in 2008 with 20+ years of Customer Service Management experience that encompass both sales and service. She has extensive experience managing high transaction customer service operations for companies in utility, catalog and retail service industries. Jeanne is known for her strong focus on customer service and has a proven track record in creating performance improvement programs, streamlining operations and motivating employees. She has strong cross-functional and team leadership skills with a collaborative management style.
Prior to joining TIE Commerce, Jeanne was the Director, Contact Centers and Central Station for the Cooperative Response Center, a company providing after-hours and overflow services to rural electric cooperatives nationwide. Jeanne has provided customer service leadership to a variety of businesses, both large and small, and has a strong focus on exceeding customer expectations.
Patrick van Boom
Director of Worldwide Sales & Marketing
Patrick van Boom holds a master degree from the Erasmus University Rotterdam in Business Economics & Marketing. He also completed his post doctorate work in Business Process Reengineering (BPR) at the Nyenrode University.
In his business career he worked as business consultant and Sales & Marketing Manager with several subsidiaries and in the holding of CRH Ltd (Cement Roadstone Holding) and 3 years as a boardmember of one of the subsidiaries. Patrick founded his own Marketing & Sales consultancy company in 1996. With the emerging role of internet and e-commerce in marketing & sales he started another company, Advinet Plus. This company merged with The Knowledge Factory to become Digital Channel. Patrick was responsible for the Operations and Product Development. In 2006 Digital Channel was acquired by TIE.
Emile van de Klok
Managing Director, TIE International
Emile van de Klok brings 15 years of experience as entrepreneur within the Telecom and IT industry. Working for start-up and established software companies he has held strategic positions including R&D management, Product & Marketing Management and Director of Channel Management. As Managing Director of TIE International Mr. van de Klok is responsible for building the business in the EMEA region. His academic background and the research studies he performed on innovation, product development and channel management provide valuable knowledge to TIE’s international growth strategy and operational activities.
Emile graduated as an engineer from the Rens & Rens institution in Electronics & IT. He holds a Master of Science (Cum Laude) in Management from the Nyenrode Business Universiteit. As volunteer with the Net4kids Aid Foundation he is responsible for several child aid projects, related to ICT, in Africa and in India.
David Fullen
Director of Sales – North America
Since joining in 2003 David brings more than 15 years of sales and management experience to the TIE Kinetix executive team. He has made significant contributions to both direct and indirect sales operations helping to develop several new lines of business and manage the day-to-day activities of TIE’s US sales team and strategic relationships. David’s has a solid track record of successful sales execution across several multi-million dollar accounts working for TIE Kinetix, Sterling Commerce and Commerce Insurance.
David is a “hands-on” practitioner, expert in B2B integration technologies and distinguished speaker at numerous supply chain industry events and partner conferences. He currently holds a BS with high honors from Northeastern University in Boston.
Ed Ouellette
Director of R&D, TIE Kinetix Content Syndication Platform
Ed has over 10 years of software engineering experience managing several key software platforms for TIE Kinetix focused on supply chain management, electronic data interchange, master data management and most recently, digital content syndication solutions. His direct contributions as a manager and communicator have led to greater collaboration, business convergence and technological advancement of the company.
Ed’s achievements include being the lead software engineer for the TIE EDGE product line that is currently sold and distributed by Microsoft and Intertrade Systems for supply chain integration. His current repertoire includes researching, developing and orchestrating development activities for the TIE Kinetix Content Syndication Platform. Some recent projects include syndicating real-time content over the Internet for companies such as Microsoft, Siemens and CNET Content Solutions in over 12 different languages.
Melissa Cromwell
Manager of Finance and Administration
Melissa Cromwell is TIE Commerce’s Manager of Finance and Administration and is chartered with overseeing all of TIE Commerce’s financial operations. Melissa has more than 8 years experience in various aspects of the corporate accounting environment including strategic planning, financial reporting, cash and budget management, debt restructuring, taxation, and internal auditing. Melissa holds a B.S. from Merrimack College.
